Keeping with tradition, Indian students bagged medals in the International Math Olympiad, held at Bremen, Germany. Out of the 6 member contingent from India, 3 won Silver Medals and 2 won the Bronze medal. Another student was given a Special Mention Award. The team was led by CR Pranechar of the Math Olympiad Cell of Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education. They were also accompanied by a deputy leader and an observer.
The Olympiad witnessed participation from students from 108 countries.
